New Israeli incursion into Daraa countryside 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new Israeli incursion, involving four military vehicles that headed towards the Saida al-Hanout area in the countryside of Daraa, where the forces set up a temporary checkpoint to search passersby, before withdrawing from the area.

The Observatory noted that the operation came amid escalating tensions on the southern Syrian front in recent weeks, with increased Israeli air activity over the region.

The Observatory documented on Saturday evening the incursion of an Israeli military force consisting of three tanks and several vehicles near the former al-Saqri checkpoint at the beginning of al-Salam (The Peace) Highway, which departed from the demolished Quneitra base.

Four additional tanks also advanced towards the town of al-Samadaniya in the Quneitra countryside, accompanied by a number of military vehicles. The forces set up a mobile checkpoint on the road connecting the towns of Jaba and Khan Arnaba, conducting searches and restricting the movement of passersby, although no information was received about any arrests.

These movements were accompanied by flights of Israeli drones and warplanes.
