The Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization reported that on Tuesday, June 25, the Civil Police mercenaries raided the homes of citizens in the village of Diwa Fawqani in the city of Janders and kidnapped 4 citizens of the village, including two brothers and the village headman.

The organization documented the names of the kidnapped people: “Ali Hassan (40 years old), who is the village headman, and he was released after paying a ransom, Hussein Hassan Hammoud (35 years old), Muhammad Hassan Hamoud (38 years old), and Muhammad Jumah Soro (40 years old).”

It stated that the four citizens were abducted after their demands the Turkish occupation authorities in Janders to evacuate their homes from the settlers who had seized the houses by force since occupation of Afrin on March 18, 2018 and to expel them from the village over their inhumane actions and practices. However, instead of meeting the demands of the villagers, the MIT kidnapped the four citizens.

Local sources reported that the “Civil Police” mercenaries of the Turkish occupation kidnapped the citizen Yahya Taha Barakat (37 years old) and the minor Adham Darwish Alloush (15 years old) from the people of Janders in the occupied city of Afrin.

According the organization, the MIT and "Civil Police" mercenaries kidnapped the two citizens. Nechirvan Mustafa Ali (37 years old) from the city of Mobata, on June 22, and Adnan Nami (26 years old), from the village of Ain al-Hajar al-Kabir, on June 13.
