Mass demonstrations in Jazera Canton demanding right of hope and democracy for Syria

Massive public rallies were held in three major cities in the Jazira Canton, attended by thousands of people from across the canton, including political parties, Arab and Kurdish tribes, and political and social organizations. They demanded the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the right to hope, and the building of a democratic Syria.

In the city of Qamishli, thousands of residents from the cities of Qamishli, Amuda, Tal Hamis, and Tirbespiyê gathered in front of the March 12 Martyrs Stadium to participate in the mass rally demanding a democratic, pluralistic Syria.

A similar rally was held in the city of Derik in Dijla Park, with the participation of residents from the cities of Derik, Girkê Legê, Çil Agha, and Tal Kocher, to affirm the right to hope and the building of democracy.

In the city of Hasaka, a mass rally was held in the city center with the participation of residents from the cities of Hasaka, Tal Tamr, Darbasiyah, Shaddadi, Tal Brak, and al-Hol, to demand the right to hope and the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
