Kurdish Red Crescent distributes aid to affected families in coast
The Kurdish Red Crescent teams, accompanying the aid convoy sent in cooperation with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, have begun distributing aid to affected families in coastal areas.

In response to the urgent need to provide essential aid to the people of the coast, who have suffered horrific massacres and violations, the Kurdish Red Crescent, in cooperation with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, sent a humanitarian aid convoy on Monday, March 17. The convoy consisted of 20 trucks loaded with relief supplies, including essential food and medical items.
This step is considered the first in a series of planned convoys aimed at providing the necessary support.
The convoy arrived on Tuesday evening in the city of Jableh, where the aid was unloaded in the warehouses of the "Hand in Hand Association," which covers cities in the coastal region, according to the convoy’s accompanying delegation.
Today, since the early hours of the morning, Kurdish Red Crescent teams have formed two committees: one to prepare lists and records of the affected families who will receive the aid, and another to sort and prepare the supplies into food baskets for distribution to the families.
It is worth noting that Damascus authorities required the convoy's accompanying delegation to remove the Kurdish Red Crescent logo from the trucks as a condition for allowing them to pass. The Kurdish Red Crescent complied with this condition, emphasizing that the main goal is to deliver aid to the affected families as quickly as possible.
