Kurdish artists Shehribana Kurdi, Jala Rojhilat visit ANHA Agency

Kurdish artists Shehribana Kurdi and Jala Rojhilat visited the headquarters of ANHA Agency today in the city of Qamishlo, in the Jazira Canton, as part of their trip to North and East Syria to participate in the events commemorating the 13th anniversary of the July 19th Revolution.

The artists were welcomed by the agency's administration, including the editor-in-chief, editors, and correspondents, who expressed their appreciation for this visit, which carries cultural and artistic significance in support of the Kurdish people's cause.

During the visit, the artists shared their feelings about the Kurdish people's resistance in the July 19th Revolution, affirming that art is the voice of freedom, and that Kurdish songs have always been and continue to be a tool of struggle against oppression and cultural erasure. They performed revolutionary songs that reflected a deep sense of belonging and popular sentiment, expressing their support for the revolutionaries and the resistance.

The visit also included a discussion on the current situation in Kurdistan and the role of art in conveying the voice of the people and documenting their struggle and history.

At the end of the visit, the artists raised the slogan "Woman, Life, Freedom" (Jin, Jiyan, Azadî), as a symbol of their commitment to the values of the Kurdish revolution, and extended their respect and admiration to those resisting on the front lines of political and cultural struggle.
