Kilo Issa: Kurdish parties should unite around common policy

 A member of the Central Committee of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, Kilo Issa, spoke to ANHA's agency about the attempts at Kurdish unity.

Kilo Issa explained that after 14 years of wars and conflicts, the region has entered a new phase whose nature has not yet been determined. Therefore, as the Kurdish people, we must preserve their achievements and the gains of the people they have made over the past years, pointing out that "for the Kurds to take strong steps, they must unite around each other."

Kilo Issa pointed to the efforts of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Kurdistan National Congress to unify the Kurdish ranks, adding: "To gather the Kurds under one umbrella, we must unite and consolidate our views."

Ibrahim Issa added: "It is not important who will head to Damascus, but what is important and very necessary is for the Kurds to reach a common vision to protect the Kurdish people and recognize it, and to play a role in building the new Syria, a decentralized, democratic, and pluralistic Syria." Therefore, we need Kurdish unity in order to build a democratic, equal, free, and just Syria.

 A member of the Central Committee of the Kurdish Democratic Party, Kilo Issa, emphasized the importance of Kurdish unity more than ever, amidst the ongoing Turkish attacks that aim to occupy the region.

He went on to say: "Therefore, a circle must be formed to rally around the SDF forces and protect them." As a autonomous administration, we will not allow the enemy's plans to be realized. Reaching a new stage and escalating our resistance is linked to our unity and Kurdish solidarity, and negotiating with all parties to build a decentralized system.

At the end of his speech, he called on all Kurdish forces to unite around a common policy and to free themselves from the influence of foreign and regional policies to achieve a result.
