KCK calls for escalating struggle for freedom of Leader Ocalan, Kurdish people

Today, the Co-Presidency of the KCK Executive Council issued a statement marking the 28th anniversary of the international conspiracy against Leader Ocalan. The statement read:

“This conspiracy aimed to break Leader Apo’s influence and sought to achieve this either by physically eliminating him or by neutralizing him ideologically and politically. However, these forces encountered strong resistance from our people, embodied in the ‘You Cannot Block Our Sun’ resistance, which marked the beginning of the collapse of the international conspiracy.

After the attempts to physically eliminate him were thwarted, Leader Apo continued his struggle against the conspiracy from Imrali Island, taking it to the ideological and political level. Our liberation movement and our people united around their leader and largely foiled the conspiracy.

The Kurdistan liberation movement continued to expand its struggle, and resistance developed across the four parts of Kurdistan until the Kurds became an undeniable force. If the Kurds have become an influential force in the Middle East today, it is because of their extraordinary struggle against the international conspiracy.

In his defense before the European Court of Human Rights, written during the early years of his imprisonment, Leader Apo said: ‘Historical conspiracies cannot stop developments; they accelerate them.’ Developments in our liberation struggle across the four parts of Kurdistan have confirmed the accuracy of this assessment.

There is no doubt that Leader Apo remains imprisoned. Nevertheless, he has developed an ideological and theoretical campaign unlike anything achieved by any free person before him, showing humanity the path to liberation. At a time when capitalist modernity is destroying society and humanity, Leader Apo dealt a powerful blow to the system of capitalist modernity through his defenses advocating liberation and his Manifesto for a Democratic Society.

From now on, history will record how capitalism removed itself from human life. Democratic socialism will be strengthened through the model of women's freedom, ecology and democratic society, and these goals will be achieved.”

The international conspiracy targeted all the peoples of the Middle East

“The Manifesto for a Democratic Society put forward by Leader Apo forms the basis for all humanity's struggle for a free and democratic life, not just for the Kurdish people. The Kurdish question has become an international issue with highly complex dimensions, and it can only be resolved through an ideological and political approach.

What has made Leader Apo a leader of the path toward the liberation of all humanity is the depth of the problems facing Kurdistan and the Middle East. The issues confronting the peoples of the Middle East, particularly the Kurds, who are subjected to genocide, cannot be resolved through narrow ideological and political approaches.

In this context, the international conspiracy targeted all the peoples of the Middle East through its attack on the Kurdish people. Through the model of women's freedom, ecology and democratic society, as well as the Peace and Democratic Society Project in Turkey, Leader Apo seeks to thwart the conspiracy that targeted all the peoples of the Middle East through the Kurdish people.

Bringing the Peace and Democratic Society Process to fruition by achieving the physical freedom of Leader Apo and the freedom of the Kurdish people will lead to the complete defeat of the international conspiracy.

The international conspirators sought to eliminate Leader Apo, who was working to change the fate of the Middle East, a region that had remained mired in darkness for centuries. He was working to resolve the Kurdish question on the basis of brotherhood among peoples and democracy. His struggle in this direction contributed to significant developments in the states occupying Kurdistan.

This situation also alarmed those seeking to divide Kurdistan into four parts and maintain their dominance over the Middle East. The Kurdistan liberation movement, led by Leader Apo, weakened cooperation among forces across the Middle East, while international powers viewed this as a major threat to their dominance. They therefore orchestrated a conspiracy unprecedented in world history.

In the 29th year since the conspiracy, our task is to escalate the struggle on all fronts and work toward the physical freedom of Leader Apo and the Kurdish people. When we escalate our struggle along ideological and political lines, the Kurdish people will be able to achieve a free and democratic life.

The 29th year also serves as a call to the Kurdish people, their friends and democratic forces to intensify their struggle. Our people, who escalate their struggle everywhere on the anniversary of the conspiracy, will continue their resistance without interruption and consign the conspirators to the dustbin of history.”
