Turkish occupation targets S. Kurdistan 32 times with internationally banned weapons

The People’s Defense Forces Media Center released a detailed statement outlining the attacks by the Turkish occupation army on Southern Kurdistan and their forces' responses to these incursions. The statement read:

 Martyr Delil Region (West Zap):

 December 27: Forces destroyed 40 kilograms of explosives planted by the Turkish occupation at the resistance area of Judi Hill.

 December 31, 12:30: Women's Free Units fighters targeted enemy soldiers at the resistance area of Bahar Hill with heavy weapons, halting enemy movement.

 Metina Region:

 January 1, 14:30: Forces targeted Turkish soldiers attempting to construct a position in the Serî Metina resistance area using semi-automatic weapons, disrupting enemy operations.

 Khakurk Region:

 December 30: A group of Turkish soldiers attempted to approach the war tunnels in the resistance area in Lolan Valley. At 11:40, the occupation forces bombed the war tunnels twice with banned explosives. At 13:30, Women's Free Units fighters intervened, halting enemy movements.

 Turkish Army Use of Banned Weapons:

 December 29, 31, and January 1: The Turkish army bombed war tunnels in the resistance area at FM Hill in Martyr Delil region (West Zap) four times with prohibited explosives.

 December 29: The army targeted war tunnels at Judi Hill (West Zab) four times with prohibited explosives.

 December 29, 31, and January 1: War tunnels at Şêlazê resistance area in the Metina region were bombed 24 times with banned explosives.

 Turkish Army Airstrikes:

 From December 29 to January 2, Turkish warplanes conducted the following airstrikes:

 6 strikes in Martyr Sharif Hill, Berbizina, and Khunêre Cûr in the Khakurk region.

 16 strikes in Derîşê, Mêcî, Rashid Hill, Zengl Hill, Kafiya Plain, Haft Bag, and Zêvkê in the Gare region.

 3 strikes in Bahar Hill and Judi Hill in the Martyr Delil region (West Zap).

 1 strike in Şêlazê resistance area in the Metina region.

Total airstrikes: 26.

Helicopter Attacks:

December 30 and 31: Turkish attack helicopters struck the Bahar Hill resistance area (Martyr Delil region, West Zap) 14 times.
