Yesterday, the co-presidency of the Executive Council of the KCK issued a statement regarding the Iranian President’s plane crash, which reads:

The Iranian President and the Foreign Minister went to Azerbaijan to attend a joint opening with the Azerbaijani President, and upon their return from Azerbaijan; The helicopter they were traveling in crashed on Iranian territory, leading to the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Abdollahian, and his accompanying delegation. According to what has been reported to public opinion, Iran has described it as an accident, but it is a very suspicious incident, and at a time when our region is going through a sensitive phase, it is an event that must be understood. We offer our condolences to the families and relatives of those who lost their lives and to the Iranian state.

Our region, the Middle East, is going through a sensitive phase, and some powers want the war to deepen and spread in the Middle East through Iran, and are carrying out activities in this direction, and the Turkish state is at the forefront of these powers.

We do not see that the deepening of the war in the Middle East is beneficial to the people in any way, and we act with this sensitivity, and we believe that it is important for the powers in the region to deal with this matter sensitively, and to act with caution against the policies of the powers that want to spread and deepen the war.”
