Within the framework of the global campaign “Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, the solution to the Kurdish issue,” hundreds of people from the town of al-Kasra in Deir ez-Zor province held a rally to demand the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The rally started in front of the Western Region Council in the town of al-Kasra in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor, towards al-Dalla Roundabout after that a statement was delivered on behalf of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women’s Union, by the union’s administrator, Rawda Al-Hussein.

The statement stressed that "the continued pressure by the fascist Turkish occupation state on leader Abdullah Ocalan for more than 25 years has increased the pace of struggle among the free peoples."

The statement added, "We will continue to  follow the path of martyrs until achievement leader Ocalan freedom and demolishing the walls of Imrali to establish a moral political society in accordance with the thought and philosophy of the leader."

The rally ended with chanting, “There is no life without the leader.”

The Young Women's Union in Tabqa also held a rally that started from the western entrance to the city of Mansoura, with banners read, “With the women’s revolution...life...freedom, we will achieve the physical freedom of Leader Ocalan,” “There is no life without the leader”

The participants observed a minute of silence, then  the member of the Young Women’s Union, Klezar Hanan affirmed “The isolation on Leader Abdullah Ocalan is in violation of all international regulations and conventions and regulations regarding prisons and political detainees."

The Co-Chair of the Civil Council in Mansoura, Muhammad al-Mahmoud, delivered a speech in which he stressed that “ The Turkish attempts won't affect our solidarity in confronting the enemy’s plots.”

The rally ended with chanting, “There is no life without leader Ocalan.”
