Jordan condemns Netanyahu's statements as dangerous escalation

The Ministry described these remarks as a dangerous and provocative escalation that undermines the sovereignty of nations and violates international law and the United Nations Charter.

The Ministry's official spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, emphasized Jordan's absolute rejection of these inflammatory statements. He stated that such "baseless delusions" reflected in the remarks of Israeli officials will neither weaken Jordan nor the Arab states, nor diminish the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.

Al-Qudah further noted that these statements and actions reveal the precarious situation of the Israeli government, coinciding with its growing international isolation amid its ongoing aggression in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

Al-Qudah asserted that the claims and illusions promoted by extremist elements within the Israeli government fuel cycles of violence and conflict, necessitating a clear international stance to condemn them and warn of their grave consequences for regional security and stability.

He called for the international community to take immediate action to halt all provocative Israeli statements and measures that threaten regional stability and international peace and security.

In remarks to local media, Netanyahu described himself as being on a "historic and spiritual mission" and expressed strong adherence to the vision of "Greater Israel." Speaking to Israel's i24 channel, he referred to the "Israeli dream" as a "generational mission" passed down through the ages, underscoring his sense of a "spiritual and historical" duty to the Jewish people.
