Israel bombes Hezbollah military site in Lebanon
Israeli aircraft launched raids on Lebanese Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army announced in a statement today that it bombed a large military site belonging to Hezbollah in the Al-Rihan area. This came hours after the Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it had targeted Israeli army positions in the Zaoura area in the Galil with dozens of Katyusha rockets.
The current escalation between Israel and Lebanese Hezbollah is the largest since the two sides fought a month-long war in July 2006, while the two sides have been exchanging fire across the Israeli-Lebanese border since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas on October 7th.
