Iranian Authorities arrest Prominent Kurdish Singer
The Iranian authorities arrested the Kurdish artist Muhammad Abbas Zadeh. Under the pretext of chanting the slogan “Women, Life, Freedom,” during the Newroz celebration.
The Human Rights Organization in Eastern Kurdistan announced that the Singer, Muhammad Abbas Zadeh (35 years old), was arrested after the Newroz celebration in Shuhan city.
The organization noted that the Singer was arrested after chanting the slogan “Women, Life, Freedom” during the Newroz celebration. Mohammad Abbaszadeh was arrested in 2023, and was later released on bail.
