Signatures Campaign ended in Al-Shaddadi
The collection of signatures for the freedom of leader Ocalan in the Al-Shaddadi district ended with the collection of more than 100,000 signatures.
On February 9, the Popular Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in NE Syria launched a campaign to collect signatures to be sent to the Council of the European Union, demanding the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
In this context, the committees in charge of collecting signatures in the Al-Shaddadi district announced the end of the collection operations, as the Democratic Union Party’s administrator in the district, Anoud Al-Saleh, said: “We began collecting signatures in the district on February 17 of last year and formed committees in the town of Al-Dashisha and its villages and Abu Fas, where the collection operations ended with the collection of 103 Thousands of signatures.
Meanwhile, the administrator of the Democratic Union Party in Al-Shaddadi district, Mahidi Al-Daghim, said: “The Turkish authorities are still imposing strict isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and we in the southern region participated in the campaign demanding his physical freedom by collecting signatures and informing the people of the truth of the conspiracy that was hatched against him."
Yesterday, the collection of signatures for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan in Raqqa ended with 750,000 signatures.
