Today, lawyers from the Asrın Law Office—Suzan Akipa, İbrahim Bilmez, İmran Emkeci, and Cengiz Yürekli—filed a petition with the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Imrali Prison Directorate, seeking permission to visit their clients: Abdullah Ocalan, Omer Hayri Konar, Hamili Yıldırım, and Veysi Aktaş. These individuals have been subjected to what has been described as a systematic regime of isolation, repression, and psychological torture for over three years.

Despite submitting two formal requests per week to both the Bursa Prosecutor’s Office and the Imrali Prison administration, the legal team has yet to receive any response regarding their visitation rights.

The continued enforcement of severe isolation measures at Imrali has raised serious human rights concerns, with Abdullah Öcalan being denied even the most basic rights afforded to detainees under international law.
