"ignoring peace call will lead to exacerbate crisis in Middle-east"
Social segments in al-Tabqa canton reiterated that Leader Abdullah Ocalan's peace initiative is a historical opportunity that must be seized by the Turkish state. They warned that forgetting it will aggravate crises and close doors for chances of peaceful solutions in the Middle East.

Everyone is observing the Peace and Democratic Society Initiative opened by Leader Abdullah Ocalan on February 27 to address the crises of Northern Kurdistan, Turkey, and the Middle East. However, no effective step has so far been taken by the Turkish state to make the initiative a success, in the face of popular demands for steps to end the torture and genocide regime unleashed on the leader and to ensure his physical freedom.
Future Syria Party General Council member Mohammed Bayram emphasized that the historic appeal of the leader to resolve the Kurdish issue in Turkey, and the outcome of the 12th PKK Congress, are a genuine opportunity to close the conflict.
He stated that moving towards political, democratic, and legal action is unavoidable and requires a powerful response from Turkey. This is to demonstrate Turkey's intentions to achieve peace. He indicated that if the Turkish government prohibits this attempt, there can be legal obligation legal actions against the region as those of the previous ceasefire.
Bayram determined that maintaining the physical liberty of the leader and providing him with a secure and stable environment is an essential part of the peace process.
Consequently, Adnan Aliwi, head of the Ahl al-Bayt Association of al-Tabqa Democratic Islam Conference, stated that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), following its twelfth conference, launched a genuine peace initiative to spread love and open a new page with the Turkish state. Nevertheless, the latter has taken no serious measure in this context, especially regarding the case of the leader.
Yasser al-Kurdi, a Syrian Initiative member of the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in al-Tabqa, said that their recent demonstrations in their areas were in solidarity with the leader's peace initiative. He explained that the nation is in a historic opportunity following the announcement by the party of its dissolution, and failure to act positively means outright political procrastination.
Milad Faris, a thinker in al-Tabqa, described the leadership's initiative for the peace process, the official declaration of dissolution by the party, and the ceasefire as good unilateral steps. He called on Turkey to follow suit and halt its military campaign.
He showed that Turkish history is replete with reluctance to respond to overtures of peace. The first, while physical freedom of the leader remains one of the most significant determinants for the peace process to succeed, had shown that the leader is the hub to all crises of the region, especially the Turkish political crisis.
The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) announced through a communiqué that it was to organize its twelfth conference from May 5 to 7, following the call of Leader Abdullah Ocalan for "peace and a democratic society." It was at this conference that the dissolution of the party, the end of armed struggle, and the transition toward political activism were announced.
