The Roj News Agency has revealed the identities of the two Kurdish journalists who were targeted today by the Turkish occupation army within the borders of Sulaymaniyah province, S. Kurdistan.

Two Kurdish journalists were martyred on Friday in an airstrike carried out by the Turkish occupation state on a vehicle carrying journalists in the Sayed Sadiq area within the borders of Sulaymaniyah province.

According to Roj News, the martyrs belonged to the media team of "Çetir" company, and their names are Hêro Bahaa el-Din and Gulistan Tara.

Hêro Bahaa el-Din, who specialized in editing, was from the Sinkaw area in Sulaymaniyah and dedicated her life to media work in Kurdistan.

Gulistan Tara, from the city of Êlih (Batman), North Kurdistan, had been a professional journalist since 2000 and was a prominent member of the "Free Media" organization. She collaborated with several media institutions to shed light on regional issues, with her last work being with the "Çetir” company.

The attack also resulted in injuries to six other journalists, with varying degrees of severity, according to the agency. However, the agency has not yet released the names of the injured or detailed information about their conditions.
