Al-Salamieh National Hospital is suffering from a shortage of doctors, staff, specialties, and essential devices, amid government neglect and failure to provide transportation and medical infrastructure, leaving patients in crowded hallways and threatening their lives with consequences that could turn into a widespread health disaster.

Syrian writer and political analyst Mohammad Issa confirmed that the peace initiative launched by leader Abdullah Ocalan aims to open a breach in the wall to solve the Syrian crisis through democratic dialogue.
