Kurdish journalism enters its 128th year since the publication of the first Kurdish newspaper, amid questions about its ability to reflect the suffering of the Kurdish cause or remain constrained by structural and political challenges that limit its effectiveness. In the current phase, the role of Kurdish journalists and media outlets is highlighted in developing professional performance and unifying media discourse in a way that strengthens their presence within a more comprehensive approach to the Kurdish issue.

The Hama Iron Factory is experiencing a state of ambiguity and administrative disruption, amid concerns over undisclosed measures that include the removal of equipment from warehouses, continuous changes in working hours, and the transfer of workers to other provinces, without any official government clarification so far regarding what has been happening inside the facility during 2026.
