A survivor of the attack carried out by mercenaries of the interim government on the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods of Aleppo recounted details of the siege and the systematic shelling that targeted civilians. She confirmed that water and electricity were cut off from Khaled Fajr Hospital, which was subjected to heavy bombardment. Women from Raqqa Canton affirmed that achieving the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan would have a positive impact on the Syrian reality by enabling his intellectual role in supporting democratic solutions and enhancing dialogue among all Syrian components, thereby contributing to the building of a democratic Syria. Political activist Walid al-Hammoud described the attacks launched by mercenaries of the interim government in Syria on the besieged neighborhoods of Aleppo as a systematic political campaign aimed at imposing unilateral authority, seeking exclusion, undermining pluralism, and pushing Syrian society toward further division and infighting. Researcher on extremist groups, Mar Arkandi, confirmed the participation of thousands of mercenaries and jihadists in the attacks on the Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid neighborhoods, including Iraqi factions stationed in Turkey and others listed on international sanctions lists, in addition to remnants of ISIS mercenaries. She affirmed that the neighborhoods were subjected to massacres and war crimes.

A Sudanese activist and researcher warned of the gravity of the crimes and violations committed against civilians in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods of Aleppo, stressing that they constitute a blatant violation of human rights and undermine any claim of building a transitional phase based on justice and human rights in Syria. She also confirmed that the mutilation of the body of a member of the Internal Security Forces constitutes a flagrant human rights violation.

The Democratic Islam Conference is organizing a meeting in the city of Qamishlo to discuss the latest developments in the region and the attacks on the Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid neighborhoods in Aleppo.
