A member of the Abdullah Ocalan Academy stated that granting leader Abdullah Ocalan the “right to hope” and ending the isolation imposed on him are essential steps to support dialogue and peace. The Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) are responsible for carrying forward the legacy of struggle that spans 1,500 years of women fighters and activists. In Hasakah, Al-Shaab Hospital is facing increasing pressure due to the rising number of patients and the spread of measles and seasonal childhood illnesses. During the past month, the hospital received more than 28,000 patients across its various departments.
