The families of three martyrs from the city of Kobani confirmed that their sons went to defend their water and energy resources at the Tishreen Dam, stating: “With the sacrifices of our martyrs, the dam has prevailed.” (Accompanied by photos and video).

The Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria (Yekiti), Muhyi al-Din Sheikh Ali, stated that the Turkish state has not yet provided the required response to the peace and democratic society process. He said: “The Turkish state remains hesitant regarding taking practical steps and lifting the isolation. The latest crime committed by the mercenaries of the interim government, backed by the Turkish occupying state, in Aleppo was not an isolated incident. Rather, it represents an extension of Ankara’s long-standing policies. Just as the Turkish state mutilated the bodies of guerrilla fighters in the mountains of Kurdistan since the 1990s, its mercenaries are now repeating the same bloody approach by mutilating the body of a member of the Internal Security Forces, in a video-documented scene that sparked widespread anger and condemnation.
