- The family of journalist Ahmad Bawald, who has been detained in the city of Raqqa since January 18, 2026, has submitted a request to the Rojava Committee for Prisoners and Missing Persons to add his name to the lists of missing and detained persons and help determine his fate and place of detention. There is information suggesting that he may be held in a prison in Aleppo and is in poor health.

- Residents of Çil Axa have expressed their dissatisfaction with deteriorating living and service conditions, calling on the relevant authorities to assume their responsibilities and find urgent solutions to problems related to electricity, bread, sanitation and rising prices, as well as the currency crisis.
