Eastern Kurdistan alliance: Iranian attacks won't stop our struggle

The Alliance of Political Forces in East Kurdistan issued a statement regarding the attacks carried out by Iran on the headquarters of Eastern Kurdistan political parties in South Kurdistan. The statement read:

“Over the past few days, the Iranian regime has continued targeting the headquarters of political forces in East Kurdistan with missiles and drones. These attacks resulted in the martyrdom of Jalal Rashidi, a Peshmerga fighter of the Kurdistan Freedom Party, in addition to the injury of several fighters from the same party, as well as a number of fighters from the Democratic Party of Iran – Komala (the Revolutionary Toilers’ Organization of Iran).

The bombardments carried out in recent days inside Kurdistan and in several cities have also led to the killing and injury of a number of civilians.

The Alliance of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan extends its condolences to the family of the martyr Jalal Rashidi and to the Kurdistan Freedom Party, as well as to the families of the victims of the war ignited by the Iranian regime in the region. The alliance affirms the following:

The regime’s attacks on the headquarters and camps of the political parties of East Kurdistan, which reflect the regime officials’ deep fear and weakness in the face of the Kurdish rights movement in Iran, will not weaken our struggle or continuity. Rather, they will strengthen our determination to continue the fight to overthrow the Iranian Republic and liberate Kurdistan.

We once again call on the people of Kurdistan, in light of the regime’s deployment of its forces in mosques and schools and the holding of military and security gatherings inside administrative centers, to move away as soon as possible from military bases, security centers, and administrative institutions affiliated with the regime, as well as from places where its forces gather.”
