Students from Rojava University and the youth of North and East Syria spoke to ANHA Agency about the role of youth in building a democratic Syria.

Biyal Hussein emphasized that young people have strengthened their role on the national stage, fostering a healthy society free from racism, promoting democratic values, and building a centralized, pluralistic Syria, thanks to the ideas and philosophy of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Ronaz Majdo stated, “The constitutional declaration represents a mindset of exclusion, disregards the fundamental components of society, and lacks mechanisms to protect freedoms, posing a threat to both society and its youth. Consequently, the youth of North and East Syria will not accept this declaration.”

Jan Younis remarked, “The historical duty of revolutionary youth movements and student organizations is to prepare young people to build and serve the nation through open dialogue. With educated and organized youth, we can construct a free and democratic Syria.”

Alisar Sheikho stressed the importance of sustaining youth dialogue and expanding organizational spaces to build a centralized, democratic Syria.
