Dozens of young men, women, and local residents gathered today at Osman Sabri (Qirmuti) Roundabout under the slogan, "Through the Youth's Struggle, We Will Free the Leader." Participants stressed that the freedom of society begins with the leader's freedom and that the will of struggling peoples will remain stronger than policies of isolation and exclusion.

The event began with the lighting of torches before the march set off from Osman Sabri Roundabout toward Youth City. Participants chanted slogans, including "There Is No Life Without the Leader."

Upon reaching Youth City, participants observed a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs. A statement was then read by Helen Mohammed, a member of the Young Women's Union, who said that the youth of Qamishlo reject the continued isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan despite the launch of the Peace and Democratic Society process in Turkey.

The statement emphasized that the youth will continue supporting the Peace and Democratic Society process proposed by leader Abdullah Ocalan and will continue their struggle until his physical freedom is achieved, describing it as a fundamental step toward the success of the peace process and the consolidation of democratic solutions.
