DAA briefs German Chargé d'Affaires on situation in country
During her visit to the Autonomous Administration areas, the German Chargé d'Affaires was briefed on the situation in the country and the region. The situation in northeastern Syria following the collapse of the Assad regime was discussed, and the delegation emphasized the importance of dialogue with all political parties to achieve stability.

A German delegation headed by the Chargé d'Affaires of the German Embassy in Damascus, Margarethe Jacob, visited the Foreign Relations Department of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, located in the city of Qamishlo.
The delegation was received by the Department's co-chairs, Ilham Ahmed and Fanar al-Kait, along with the two vice-chairs, Rubel Baho and Gulistan Ali.
During the meeting, the situation in northeastern Syria in general and the impact of the collapse of al-Assad regime on the region were discussed. The meeting also highlighted the experience of the Democratic Autonomous Administration and the unity of Syrian territory.
According to the department's media office, the latest developments related to the talks between the Autonomous Administration and the Damascus authorities were reviewed, including the terms of the agreement and the committees formed to negotiate the region's administrative structures and ways to integrate them into the state structure.
The two sides also discussed the Pentagon's decision to reduce the number of American troops in northern and eastern Syria, and the potential repercussions this may have on the security situation and the fight against ISIS mercenaries.
For her part, the Chargé d'Affaires of the German Embassy in Damascus, Margarete Jacob, emphasized the importance of working towards a comprehensive political process and continuing dialogue with all components of Syrian society.
She commended the military and administrative agreements that had been implemented, expressing the international community's satisfaction with these understandings.
