Calls to save children from Turkish occupation crimes
The Office for the Protection of Child Rights and the Sterk Organization in Afrin and Al-Shahba canton, through a joint statement, condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation state.
Members of the Office for the Protection of Child Rights and the Sterk Organization in Afrin and Al-Shahba canton gathered in the town of Ahadath in Afrin and Al-Shahba canton, and made a statement condemning the attacks of the Turkish occupation state.
The statement was read by a member of the Child Rights Protection Office, Zainab Haj Othman, in Arabic, and by student Bahar Suleiman in Kurdish.
The statement pointed out that the Turkish occupation state targeted civilians and children in its systematic attacks that constitute war crimes. He stated that the recent bombing of the villages of Al-Shahba resulted in the death of a child and the injury of 3 others.
It condemned the silence of organizations concerned with human rights and children's rights regarding these attacks, and called on them to adhere to their responsibilities to save children from the crimes of the Turkish occupation.
