The Turkish occupying state launched attacks on the regions of North and East Syria in the past October, targeting civilians and the vital infrastructure of the region, which sparked significant public outrage.

The residents of the city of Amuda in al-Jazira region expressed their stance on these attacks, confirming that they aim to force them to leave their homes, and emphasized their attachment to their land.

The citizen Beşruj Jawhari said, "Turkey exploited the Ankara incident as a pretext to launch its attacks." He added that "the real goal is to undermine the infrastructure of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, on both the social and economic levels."

He confirmed that "the Turkish occupying state seeks to displace the residents from their homes."

He emphasized that "the people of Rojava are attached to their land and will not abandon it, and that Turkey will not achieve its goal."

For his part, citizen Abdullah Yusuf condemned the attacks on service centers and the targeting of civilians. He explained that its main goal is to force the residents of the area to leave their homes.

He added, "The residents will not leave their land; they will resist and endure."

For his part, citizen Abdul Qadir Mohammad described, "Our area is safe and includes various components that have coexisted peacefully for decades."

He pointed out that the Turkish occupation did not leave anything untargeted, including facilities and service centers, in an attempt to displace the region's residents and destabilize it.

For her part, citizen Hamdia Abdul Karim expressed her condemnation of the Turkish occupation's attacks, questioning its motives for launching them against the local residents who live on their ancestors' land.

She pointed out that "targeting service facilities aims to destabilize the region and instill fear among the residents to displace them."

She affirmed: "We Kurds do not seek war, but we are ready to defend our land if necessary, no matter the sacrifices."
