7 people killed in various parts of Syria
Seven people, including a child, were killed in various parts of Syria over the past 24 hours, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

At least seven people were killed in various parts of Syria over the past 24 hours, amid the continued threat of remnants of war and security chaos in areas under Damascus's control.
In Idlib, a person from Khan Shaykhun was killed when an explosive device from remnants of war exploded inside a scrap metal collection center in the city of Maarat Misrin. A member of the Damascus government's security apparatus was also killed by unknown gunmen inside his home in the Deir Hassan camps north of the city.
In Homs, a Shiite school principal was killed in the village of Al-Diyabiyah after being shot by unknown gunmen. A young man was killed in the village of Al-Mukhtariyya during a raid carried out by a Damascus government force.
In Latakia, "a man killed his wife and son in the village of Janata, then threw their bodies into an agricultural well in an attempt to conceal the evidence of the crime," according to the Observatory.
In Deir ez-Zor, a child from the town of Al-Suwayyah died after a landmine exploded in the Albukamal desert.
These incidents confirm the continuing suffering and lack of security, amid a clear failure to remove the remains of the sabotage and curb the security chaos
