The areas of East Kurdistan have witnessed a significant escalation in arrest campaigns, with authorities detaining six Kurdish citizens in various cities within a single week, amid the continued ambiguity about their fate.

According to media reports, the detainees are Mani Abdullah Zadah, Abdullah Nabi Zadah, Yousef Klonk Zadah, Alan Hekmati Rad, Mamend Khedadi, and Kamran Rasoul Nejad. The arrests took place in the cities of Piranshahr, Saqqez, Urmia, Shino, Naqadeh, and Bukan at the hands of forces affiliated with the Ministry of Intelligence, before their transfer to an undisclosed location.

Information indicated that these arrests were conducted without warrants and involved the use of violence, raising serious concerns about the safety of those detained.

These developments come amid escalating tensions in Iran, where the country is experiencing heightened security measures, including the execution and arrest of thousands of people, among them activists and protesters.
