Activities supporting YPJ to be held in Jazira cities

The campaign supporting the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), announced on April 26th by the Joint Events Platform of Women's Movements and Organizations in Rojava, continues amid widespread interaction from women's organizations and figures across the Middle East and the world, through messages and statements of support.

In this context, the Kongra Star has prepared a comprehensive program that includes a series of events and activities in various cities of Jazira region, aimed at strengthening and expanding the campaign.

The first event is scheduled for May 6th, with a march in Qamishlo city at 12:00 PM. This will be followed on May 7th by two large marches in the cities of Derbasiyah and Derik, along with a statement to be delivered in Amuda city.

The program also includes organizing a march in Zirkan on May 10th, another in Girkê Legê on May 12th, followed by a march in Tirbê Spiyê on May 13th, then in Tell Tamer on May 17th, and a march in Hasaka on May 21st.

Within the framework of these events, a special meeting for the mothers of female martyrs of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) will be held on May 14th in the city of Tell Tamer, as the participants will speak about their daughters' roles as fighters and their impact on society, in addition to holding a dialogue session with the YPJ in Hasaka city.

These activities come in the framework of an intensified campaign supporting the YPJ, strengthening public awareness of their role, and highlighting the sacrifices they have made throughout history.
