​​​​​​​HPG: Turkish army launched attacks with banned chemical weapons and bombs

Media Center of the People's Defense Forces issued a statement about the operations carried out by the Guerrilla against the Turkish occupation army and the occupation attacks.

The People's Defense Forces HPG said: "Although the Turkish occupation army used all its military weapons against the resistance squares in Zap and the Guerilla resistance trenches, it failed to achieve any results, and despite the continuous bombardment of Guerilla positions with warplanes and attack helicopters, with tanks and howitzers, With heavy weapons and semi-automatic weapons, however, the enemy attacks were thwarted, it received strong blows and became unable to defend itself, and on the ninth of September, the Turkish occupation army expanded its invasion attacks from Amdiya Hill to Matina, despite receiving support from traitorous agents. However, it was unable to obtain the desired results, and the occupation army, which was facing many problems in the resistance square in Zap, tried to obtain the results it was looking for through the use of banned bombs, chemical gases, and tactical nuclear bombs, and in the past few days, they committed war crimes. By developing attacks on this basis in the resistance squares of Amdiya Hill and Judi Hill, we are informing all our national people and public opinion in Kurdistan about these war crimes committed by the Turkish army and we call for sensitivity regarding the matter.”

The People’s Defense Forces statement also stated the following: “The Kurdistan Freedom Fighters respond to all the attacks and inhumane methods of the occupation army with great courage and a spirit of sacrifice. They daily carry out major operations and direct strong blows to the occupation army, and in the operations carried out by our forces in Zap, Matina and Khakurk against the occupation army.” Four soldiers were killed, one of their positions and an A4 weapon were destroyed, and artillery was targeted.”
