"KJK campaign is a deterrent to the attacks of masculine mentality"

Under the slogan "We stand with the women of Afghanistan and Şengal against the attacks of the dominant man," the Kurdistan Women's Organization (KJK) announced on July 9 that it is about to launch a campaign to support women in Şengal and Afghanistan, starting from 3 to 15 August.

And in support of the campaign of the Kurdistan Women's Organization, women's organizations and movements in northeastern Syria launched, on July 31, a series of events and activities under the slogan "In response to the genocide of women... we create life."

Deter the attacks of the male mentality

The administrator in the Kongra Star Relations Committee, Fatima Hassan, saw that the campaign of the Kurdistan Women's System includes all women who are subjected to attacks by the dominant man with a masculine mentality, and she said: "Women are always exposed to attacks by the masculine mentality, especially women in the occupied areas in Afrin, Girê Spî and Afghanistan as well." ".

Fatima noted that the masculine mentality derives its strength from "killing women and obliterating their identity" and depriving them of their most basic rights, and said: "When ISIS mercenaries attacked Şengal, they targeted women in the first place; when women organized themselves and realized their strength and that they are able to defend themselves, they were able to liberate Şengal And free yourself too."

Strengthening the will of the women of Şengal and Afghanistan

Fatima Hassan drew attention to the fact that the campaign to support the women of Şengal and Afghanistan came to provide women with more strength and will: "For women to stand on their feet and fight for the sake of liberating themselves, and regaining their usurped rights."

She explained: "For hundreds of years, the masculine mentality has dominated the whole world and women in particular, as the dominant man seeks to spread the phenomenon of slavery by obliterating the identity of women, because he sees in women's freedom the end of slavery and genocide in societies, and this does not serve his interest."

Fatima referred to Kongra Star's participation in the campaign supporting the women of Şengal and Afghanistan: "We, in turn, as an organization and a women's movement, will not stand idly by, and we joined the campaign through our activities, our outings in the squares, and our uprisings in the face of the male mentality."

And she emphasized: "We women all over the world are one hand, and we all call for the truth of the slogan "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî" (Woman, Life, Freedom), which was launched by the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and we seek to restore our rights and freedom, and we must step up the pace of our struggle And we are doing our best to achieve that.”

There is no solution to society's issues without resolving the issue of women

For her part, the spokesperson for the organization office of the Future Syria Party, Lmaan Sheikho, expressed her gratitude for the campaign in support of the women of Şengal and Afghanistan.

She referred to the crimes that women were subjected to in Şengal at the hands of ISIS mercenaries in previous years, and what they are being subjected to in Afghanistan at the hands of the Taliban so far, in terms of excluding their identity, in front of the eyes and ears of the whole world.

Lmaan confirmed the participation of the Future Syria Party in the campaign to support the women of Şengal and Afghanistan, and said: "Through our seminars and various other events, we will participate in this campaign," and noted: "There is no solution to society's issues if the women's issue is not resolved."
