Suluk Council holds Russian guarantor, international community responsibility of committing these crimes

This came during a statement issued by the Council in the village of Al-Haba, in which the Council takes its headquarters after the occupation of Suluk district. Dozens of the villagers attended its reading.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Turkish occupation committed a massacre in which 3 citizens were killed and 3 others from one family were wounded. As a result of the Turkish bombing of their village, Al-Shorakah, in the eastern countryside of Ain Issa.

The Council began its statement, which was made by the administrator in the Council, Saleh Al-Hayes, by condemning the horrific massacre committed by the Turkish occupation yesterday in the village of Al-Shorakah, "which claimed the lives of 6 citizens of the Khamis Al-Hadi Al-Khalawi family, between martyrs and wounded as a result of the fall of the Turkish occupation's fragmentation shells on their house."

The Council pointed out that "Turkish shells are continuously raining down on their villages and regions, terrorizing civilians safe in their homes and causing loss of life and property in full view of the Russian guarantor and the Damascus government forces whose points are spread in the region and did not lift a finger against these violations"

Several points of the Russian forces and the Damascus government are deployed along the lines of contact with the Turkish enemy, after the Sochi agreement, which was held on October 22, 2019, to monitor the ceasefire.

During the statement, the council held the Russian guarantor responsible for this massacre for not abiding by the pledges it made at the beginning of its deployment to monitor the Turkish fire and violations along the front lines.

In his statement, he called on the international community and the Russian guarantor to stand up to their responsibilities and to restrain Turkey from its continuous violations towards the region in order to prevent the loss of more lives.

It should be noted that this is the sixth massacre committed by the Turkish occupier in the countryside of Ain Issa district, as it was preceded by 5 massacres, in which dozens of martyrs and wounded were killed. Those who were targeted by the Turkish occupation on the contact lines from Girê Spî canton and Ain Issa district to 118 were killed or wounded since the beginning of Turkey's occupation of the canton in 2019.
