She also mentioned the impact of the Treaty of Lausanne on the Kurds, and said that: "The Kurds were the main victims, after the Treaty of Lausanne, so it was met with a strong rejection through the uprisings that were carried out by Kurdish revolutionaries such as Sheikh Saeed Biran and Al-Barzanji."

The attacks on NE Syria are a continuation of the Kemalist ideology

The participants also saw during their interventions that the attacks taking place in NE Syria are a continuation of the Kemalist ideology that was followed in the Ottoman era, and that the solution to the Kurdish problem in the Middle East is a solution to all outstanding dilemmas and crises, so "all women's organizations must take the necessary measures to stop these policies and raising the pace of resistance.

External interventions on the geography of the Middle East

While the second axis shed light on foreign interventions after 1850 on the geography of the Middle East, it was presented by the editor-in-chief of Al-Ahram newspaper and professor of journalism at the Misr University for Science and Technology, Sahar Abdel Rahman.

She added, "After the Arab 'spring' revolutions, Egypt suffered more from Turkish hegemony, especially after its alliance with radical and extremist groups, such as the Muslim Brotherhood.

Abdel Rahman drew attention to the efforts made by the Kurdish people and women, and said: "There is understanding and sympathy in Egypt for all the Kurds who lived there, and Egypt's arm is open to the Kurds."

Sahar Abdel Rahman, stressed the need for women's cohesion in all fields, adding that the Arab countries are going through a very dangerous juncture, which will have future effects, "and now is the best time for cohesion and coordination, and there are great roles that can be played not only in the political field but in all fields ".

The participants also made it clear that the genocide committed against the Yazidi people is one of the results of the Treaty of Lausanne.

The forum will continue with the discussion of the third axis on the extermination regime in Mesopotamia.
