11 institutions and society movements in NE Syria condemned the massacre of the Turkish occupation on June 20, and addressed the fascist forces, saying, "You will not be able to break the will of our people, our response will be by strengthening our internal organization and rallying around the values of our societal revolution."

11 institutions and society movements in NE Syria made a statement to the public opinion regarding the recent attacks on the region.

The statement was read in front of the building of the Diplomatic Studies and Consultation Center located in the Al-Mahatta neighborhood in the city of Qamishlo, in the Kurdish and Arabic languages, respectively, by the Kurdish language teacher, Elham Asaad, and the member of the Mesopotamia Forum of Religions and Beliefs, Hanna Sumi.

The statement condemned "the genocidal war waged by the fascist Turkish state against our people,"by saying: "We bow with greatness to our righteous martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of our just cause, and extend our warm condolences to the families of the martyrs and all our peoples."

The statement added: "Since the beginning of the Rojava revolution (NE Syria), the Turkish occupation state has used all methods of war against our people, on the one hand managing the war by proxy and supporting ISIS terrorists, and on the other hand, launching a land and air invasion that resulted in the occupation of a large part of the Syrian geography, as well as waging a systematic war using drones, targeting vanguard and militant personalities.

The statement noted the attack that targeted, on (June 20), the car of the administrators of Qamishlo canton, which resulted in the martyrdom of the co-chair of Qamishlo canton, the activist Yusra Darwish, the co-president of the vanguard woman, Lyman Shweish, and the member of the council, Furat Touma, from the Assyrian component.

The statement spoke about the virtues of the two martyrs, Lyman Shweish (Rehan Amuda) and Yusra Darwish, saying: "Lyman was a struggling woman who gave 38 of her life to struggle and serve the cause of her people, just as the martyr Yusra worked for many years in the Rojava revolution," stressing, "Their sacred efforts in building a free life will not be forgotten."

It pointed out that this brutal attack, which goes against all international laws and conventions and is far from moral and human principles, comes within the framework of a dirty campaign aimed at systematic political annihilation, targeting in particular vanguard women and influential people in society, indicating, "In this way they want to break the confidence and morale of our people and keep them away from their cause and their land.

In the statement, these institutions and social movements appealed to all institutions and organizations concerned with human rights to break their silence and define their position "towards this dirty war waged by the fascist Turkish state against our society."

It also called on the people to continue their organization and their attachment to the values of the revolution and sociey, and to follow the path of the martyrs to achieve justice, equality and democracy."
