KCD: Turkish attacks against achievements of Kurdish people

The Democratic Society Congress (KCD) said, in a statement, that "the fascist racist regime of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement Party attacks the achievements of the Kurdish people".

The statement indicate that the Turkish occupation state "It uses chemical weapons in the regions of Kurdistan, and wants to make Şengal without status through the Kurdistan Region forces and the Iraqi government, besieging Makhmour camp, and attacking civilians in Rojava,” citing the Turkish attack that, yesterday, the co-chair of the Qamishlo Canton Council, Yusra Darwish, and the deputy of the co-chair of the council, Lyman Shweish, and their driver, Furat Touma, martyred in an attack by a drone.

The KCD considered this attack "a crime against humanity and a violation of human rights and international law," noting that these attacks "take place in front of the eyes of the whole world, but the United Nations and human rights and civil organizations do not show any position against them and support them with their silence".

The statement stressed that Rojava "has become, with its independent democratic system that protects the common life of peoples and the freedom of women and nature, the path to solution for the oppressed peoples, and has also become the fear of destruction for the racist-fascist regimes such as the AKP and the National Movement Party, and this is one of the reasons for these attacks," and therefore "must All our people should protect their achievements with one heart".

In its statement, the Democratic Society Congress condemned this attack, and offered its condolences to "our people," calling on all Kurdish parties, institutions, and organizations to express a clear position against these attacks, stressing, "Do not let the achievements of the Kurdish people be destroyed".
