AA in Euphrates region: Turkish occupation seeks to empty the region of its people

This came during a written statement issued by the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region, in response to the Turkish occupation state's drone bombing of a motorcycle on the outskirts of the city of Kobani, which resulted in the injury of 3 citizens.

In its statement, the administration said:

"As soon as the Justice and Development Party began consolidating the pillars of its new authority after the elections, it escalated its aggression against the regions of North and East Syria, in a clear step by pursuing a policy of war and creating chaos in the region, as the Turkish war and terror machine began with indiscriminate ground and air bombardment of our regions; The bombing targeted the centers of the cities and the populated villages, and as a result of the bombing, a number of our citizens fell between martyrs and wounded.

The Turkish occupation state is trying, through these practices, to empty our regions of its population and revive ISIS, in light of the Autonomous Administration's initiation of steps to prosecute the terrorists detained by it.

We call on the international community, especially the United States of America and the Russian Federation, as guarantors of the ceasefire agreement, to put an end to the destabilizing Turkish violations in our regions that serve the revival of terrorism.
