One mercenary killed, dismantle terrorist cell in southern countryside of Hasakah

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces stated that the operation was carried out by the commandos of its forces, in the town of al-Dashisha in the city of al-Shaddadi in the southern countryside of al-Hasakah, after getting  accurate information about the movement of the cell and following up on its terrorist activities. The statement also stated: "Our forces were able to arrest two terrorists, while another terrorist started shooting at our forces and trying to flee, which forced our forces to respond to him, which resulted in his death."

According to the statement, the cell was active in "smuggling terrorist elements from the Iraqi borders and the areas occupied by the Turkish occupation state in northern Syria, and targeting members of our forces and civilians working in the Autonomous Administration institutions, with the aim of destabilizing security and stability in our regions."

At the end of its statement, the Syrian Democratic Forces affirmed that it "will not tolerate eradicating the cells of the terrorist organization ISIS, and will continue its efforts in combating its sleeper cells, and will strike with an iron fist all attempts to revive it again."
