Kongra Star recalls the Mother Uweyş

Today, the Kongra Star Council issued a written statement on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of passing away of Mother Uweyş, the mother of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The statement affirmed: "The mother's right is a sacred right. We will rely on the approach of the mother Oweish in raising children."

The statement added: "30 years have passed since the passing away of Mother Uweyş the fighter, godlike, loyal woman to her land and the courageous one who fought against injustice and did not accept to bow to the male domination system and who was prepared to make great sacrifices for the sake of freedom and the preservation of the culture of patriotism. We in the Kongra Star Council remember Mother howling reverently.

We will adopt the right of motherhood, and we will follow the approach of Mother Oweish in raising children.

The Kongra Star Council pointed out that the mother Uweyş has gifted an unparalleled product to the Kurdish people.

It continued, "The patriotic mother Uweyş guided women to the path of freedom, she is the first school that prepared a leader like the leader, who represents the sun, spreads light to the whole world, and cares about women's freedom. On the basis of the ideas of leader thousands of women are fighting today on the mountains of Kurdistan and in the home of the gods."
