The co-chair of the Executive Body of the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK), Besê Hozat, announced last week that they had decided to stop military operations until the elections in Turkey and Bakur. In her interview with Haber TV.

"We decided to stop our military operations until the elections," Besê Hozat confirmed, referring to the parliamentary and presidential elections in Turkey on May 14.

He explained that the KCK's decision reveals to Turkish and international public opinion its desire and readiness for peace and negotiation to stop the fighting completely in the event that there is a Turkish administration that desires peace and a complete end to the crisis.

The Egyptian writer rejected the idea of comparing the practices of the Turkish regime and the initiatives of the Kurdistan Community Union (KCK), stressing that there is a moral, national and political difference between a national liberation movement and a dictatorial regime that hides behind religion, and said: "Therefore, it is not permissible to compare."
