​​​​​​​Janders massacre discloses the occupation’s hatred of Kurds

The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state committed a massacre in the occupied Janders district on the eve of the Newroz holiday, which claimed the lives of 4 martyrs from one family.

  The notable of the Bani Sultan clan in the city of Manbij, Maher Haj Muhammad, denounced the massacre, and consoled the families of the martyrs of the Newroz massacre, and said: "We all know that the flame of Newroz represents liberation from oppression and tyranny for the Kurdish people."

Hajj Muhammad explained, "The Janders massacre is not the first committed by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries. Since the occupation of Afrin, the most heinous crimes have been committed against the people, including killing, kidnapping, and seizing their property, with the aim of exterminating the Kurdish people."

Haj Muhammad denounced the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation state against the people in the occupied Syrian regions, and stressed that it is: "a disgrace to humanity, and evidence of the Turkish occupation state's aggression towards peoples yearning for freedom, because it is a partner in this massacre."

Haj Muhammad called on the international powers and human rights organizations to hold the perpetrators of the massacre accountable, foremost among them the Turkish occupation state, which committed dozens of crimes against the people in the occupied territories.

"We support the uprising of the people of Janders against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, and we affirm that the year 2023 will be the year of freedom for all peoples in the occupied territories," he stressed.

"We, the sheikhs and notables of the clans, will increase the pace of our struggle with the determination and solidarity of all the components of the region, and we will liberate all the occupied areas," Hajj Muhammad said.
