​​​​​​​Syrian activist: Syrian people must show decisive stance against Turkish aggression

 Commenting on the Turkish attacks on northern and eastern Syria, the Syrian political activist, Muhammad Issa, explained that "the last chapter of the Turkish-Erdogan aggression affected infrastructure in the Syrian border areas, as a result of which unarmed citizens and Syrian military members of the (Syrian Arab Army) were killed and members of the Syrian Democratic Forces, it aims to achieve many purposes, foremost of which is the displacement of the indigenous people from the border areas by striking the infrastructure, and establishing an incubator for ISIS, Al-Nusra, and the rest of the terrorist political Islamic factions, which are in harmony with the ideological structure of the Justice and Development Party and the nationalists of Movement Party in the ruling coalition instead of them.

 And Issa indicated that "the Turkish occupation state aims to eliminate the experience of the Syrian Democratic Council and its military base represented in the Syrian Democratic Forces, which proposes the project of the democratic nation which raises the fears of the ruling Erdogan junta.

 Issa explained that the recent Turkish attack on northern and eastern Syria has internal goals as well, and said: "There is an internal goal related to Erdogan's concern about losing the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections, which are imminent. He wants to have a chance to win after the deterioration of his popularity, by resolving the issue of Syrian refugees and resettling them in the safe zone.

 Regarding the efforts of the Turkish occupation state to revive ISIS mercenaries, Issa said: "The Syrian Democratic Forces are the first local party at the national level that succeeded in eliminating ISIS, made great sacrifices in a fateful and national battle par excellence in defense of the Syrian homeland, northern and eastern Syria, and  global peace , given the size of the danger that ISIS posed. Therefore no observer can overlook that this aggression will lead to the revival of ISIS and its sisters, Jabhat al-Nusra or Tahrir al-Sham, to the fore again.

Syrian society does not accept the Turkish role

 Issa touched on the position of the Damascus government regarding the recent Turkish attacks, and said: "I believe that the position of the Syrian government has evolved, rejecting aggression, and not welcoming or enthusiastic about accepting Russian efforts in reconciliation with Ankara, and this has emerged through several indicators, the first of which was what was reported by the Associated Press, on Damascus' apology for receiving a delegation, which Ankara was planning to send to Damascus, in preparation for preparing a summit meeting between the two parties, in a move in which many media sites considered a great personal and political insult to Turkish politics and Erdogan.

 He added, "The second indicator is what the media advisor to the Syrian presidency, Buthaina Shaaban, reported in a recorded video about sharp criticism of Turkish policy and aggression, and considered it a flagrant violation of international law, and believed that no country has the right to launch aggression against another country claiming that it is subjected to terrorism within the borders of another state and the third, the Syrian society and the incubator of the regime in the Syrian state is not inclined at all to accept the Turkish role and is apprehensive about it, and considers it hostile.

 The Syrian political activist, Muhammad Issa, confirmed that what is required of the Syrian people now is to show a decisive position rejecting and resisting the Turkish aggression.
