Panorama of week... Turkish occupation plans to make "Al-Nusra" take control over the entire occupied north of Syria

The Arab newspapers published last week dealt with the results of the fighting between the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in northern Syria, in addition to the course of Egyptian-Turkish relations.

 Erdogan's regime restricts its mercenaries to hand over their areas of influence in the countryside of Aleppo to "Al-Nusra"

 Starting with the Syrian issue, and in this context, the Syrian newspaper Al-Watan said: "The regime of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is pressuring the leaders of his mercenaries in the northern and northeastern countryside of Aleppo to accept handing over their areas of influence to the terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusra."

 Sources following up on Erdogan's policy in the areas it occupies in northern Syria revealed to Al-Watan that the latter has intensified its efforts in recent days to clamp down on the leaders of his militias in the areas of operations he calls "Olive Branch" in Afrin, north of Aleppo, and "Euphrates Shield" in the northeastern countryside of the province.  With the aim of imposing "Al-Nusra" by de facto force on the Afrin region and then on the areas of Azaz, Jarabulus and Al-Bab, after the failure of his previous efforts to unite his rival militias under the command of one military force and a unified formation.

The sources said: Intense security meetings in the last week in Idlib, which is under the rule of the "Al-Nusra" organization, brought together its terrorist leader, Abu Muhammad al-Julani, with leaders of the "Al-Faylaq Al-Thalis" militia, which lost the battle of Afrin in favor of al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda.  In the middle of last month, before it retreated militarily and kept ruling the region under the sway of his security apparatus, with the consent and blessing of the Turkish regime.

 It stated that last Sunday's meeting in Idlib, which brought together leaders of the "Al-Faylaq Al-Thalis", namely: Abu Omar Hajji Haritan, Abu Tawfiq Tal Rifaat and Abdel Aziz Salama, to the leader of "Al-Nusra", led to the modification of an old agreement between the two sides with the beginning of the invasion of Afrin from the latter and it decided to keep the area under his security authority to extend at a later time to the city of Azaz.

 The sources indicated that Turkish intelligence sponsored the previous amended agreement, which reduces the influence of the Jabhat Al-Sham militias, the center of gravity of the Al-Faylaq Al-Thalis, in Azaz, after accusing it of cooperating and receiving orders from external parties, in reference to Washington, with the exclusion of the Jaish al-Islam militias from the Al-Faylaq and from all areas of the Turkish occupation in the countryside of Aleppo.

The sources indicated that Turkish officers from the Turkish intelligence and the Turkish Ministry of Defense met in Gaziantep, for the second time within 10 days, with the leaders of most of the militias formed for the so-called “National Army” affiliated and funded by the Erdogan regime in the areas it occupies, to inform them of Ankara’s decision to hand over areas of their influence led to Al-Nusra and the failure of its efforts to form a “ army” and a central military force in northern Syria by uniting its militias with each other.

 It pointed out that northern Syria will later come under the security control of the "Al-Nusra" organization, whose civilian arm will run in a unified administration that will supervise the institutions of the so-called "interim government" affiliated with the opposition to the Turkish regime.
