Afrin will be liberated by free and struggling women

Throughout history Kurdish women have known to be steadfast and struggling, having as well an unremitting determination through the resistance they used to perform.

Kurdish Afrininan women living in the 'Awde Camp in the course of five years have organized themselves in spite of all hardships and difficulties. On the issue ANHA interviewed some Afrin's women IDPs living in the Shahba Canton.

Gilan Mohamed says '' women are encountered  with many difficulties inside the camp, in addition to the Turkish barbaric strikes that are faced bravely by women''.

Gilan said Turkish state tries to annihilate the Kurdish people in the body of women. Turkish attacks focus on women more particularly but they consolidate their resistance in repelling Turkish occupation''.

In turn, Fatima Othman says the resistance performed by women is the most intrepid in the Shahba Canton, women are encountered with hardships relevant to living conditions, in an indication to the blockade imposed by the Syrian government, '' women face very terrible conditions due to rarity of medicines, many a time when children fell sick they cannot treat their children in a proper way because of lack of medicines''.

While Laila Resho says '' though we face these hardships in the camp always and Turkish attacks continue relentlessly but women are engaged in a great resistance''.

Laila went on to say women are being trained and instructed to lead life  in the camp and defend their existence and hold meetings and attend all activities too.  ''  we will liberate Afrin by the spirit of free women'', Lalia was defiant.
