​​​​​​​HPG's guerrillas fail two Turkish occupation helicopters in Zab and Avaşîn

The HPG guerrillas announced during a statement that it had thwarted two attacks by two helicopters of the Turkish occupation in Zab and Avashin.

 The statement stated that the Peoples' Defense Forces and the Free Women's Star Units, struck two attack helicopters in the Zab and Avaşîn area and forced them to retreat.

 The text of the statement issued by the media center of the HPG and carried by the Furat news agency read:

 “On October 10, between 03:10 and 03:45, our forces intercepted a helicopter that was going to bombard the Werxilê Yard the Avaşîn district, after which the aircraft left the sky of the area.

 On October 10, between 23:00 and 00:00, our forces intercepted an attack helicopter in the Zab area, which was trying to bombard Martyr Shahin Square and Tel Martyr Simko, forcing it to leave the area.

 On the night of October 9 and 10, warplanes were flying in the sky of Tal Suleiman Square, Marvanos, Mam Rasho, Tabora Arban, Arkhileh and Banasteh. The hill of Martyr Rizgar, hill of Martyr Furat, Tal of Martyr Intiqam, Dori village, Kartal and Werxilê squares were bombed with warplanes.

 On October 9, between 21:00 and 23:00, warplanes were flying in the sky of the Qashuriya line, and the vicinity of the villages of Hiror, Dashichi, Sararo, Kust and Kordin Square were bombarded by warplanes.

 On October 10, between 08:00 and 22:30, warplanes bombed Jabal al-Aswad and the village of Heror.
