Ain Issa women call on tribes to face Turkish occupation

Turkish occupation forces continue to commit crimes on daily bases in all occupied areas against those remained at home of which against women varying from abduction and torture in grave contradiction to all social norms and international laws.

Seven women in the canton were abducted in 2021 as they were open to severe torture of whom Khewla Yasin Mela that received damages in the head, 

According to sources six of the seven are from Hamam Turkman and one from Suluk, of the Tayy, Albu Asaf and the Turkomen tribes of Tobal and Bekirat.

They were abducted on different occasions, Shahama Faisal Abdullah, Taima' Ibrahim Aswed and Khewla Yasin Mela from Haman Turkman were abducted on 7 October 2020, and Emin Habib from Suluk, and Abir Hisein Issa from Turkoman  were abducted on 25 July the last, 

On 10 August Maya Khelef and her infant from Bekirat  and Rawda Abd al-Ahmed of Tobal were abducted by the Turkish intelligence. That Maya and Rawda took refuge to notable Khelef Mohamed Khelef for protection but they forcibly taken with no heed to social and tribal norms prevailing the region.

Emira Umar, a citizen from Ain Issa District denounced such operations carried out by the Turkish occupation forces calling on people and tribes in the region to stand to occupiers.

Dilan Hisein, an administrator in the Kongra Star Corrdination in the Canton says'' the aim of the occupation and mercenaries is extortion and striking at the will of people''. Dilan called on the tribes to revolt against occupiers and terminating its crimes that run contradictory to humanitarian norms.

Hundreds of cases varying from rape, imprisonment and many others against women in Afrin were documented in addition to 30 rape cases in Sere Kaniye as the international community lifts no finger.
