​​​​​​​Egyptian politician: No alternative to Arab-Kurdish unity to liberate land from Turkey

 The Secretary-General of the Egyptian Socialist Party, Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Shaaban, said that without the slightest exaggeration, it can be asserted that the unity of the Arab-Kurdish rank is now one of the most important necessities "for the stability of our region and our countries, and for the protection of our peoples and wealth", for many reasons, chief among which is that this region because of its wealth and strategic location, it is on the list of direct targeting from imperialism, Zionism, and national racism, mainly represented by the Turkish fascist Erdogan regime, whose occupation of large Arab and Kurdish lands and regions in Syria and Iraq represents a major challenge to the Arab and Kurdish national and progressive forces.

Shaaban explained in a special statement to our agency that "the Turkish racist colonial tendency is not new to our region and our homelands. The Ottoman colonialism continued for nearly four centuries of humiliation, looting and domination, which led our country to unprecedented backwardness, poverty and misery, and bequeathed it to decades of retreat and confusion that is still its effects are present, and it was not satisfied with that, but rather imposed his hegemony on other Arab parts, such as the Syrian “Iskenderun” Brigade, and he occupies multiple regions now, in Syria and Iraq, and is Turkifying them, imposing his culture, language, control and systems over them, in preparation for their annexation, despite the nose of international law  and the inalienable rights of peoples.

The Secretary-General of the Egyptian Socialist Party added that from the foregoing, “the common interest of the peoples of the region, in particular the two peoples: the Arab and the Kurdistan, is inevitable.  The will of both parties has not been united to resist the plans of invasion, occupation and Turkification. Shaaban continued: "On the other hand, if we comprehend this eloquent lesson, unite in the face of our common enemy, and gain mutual trust between the two brotherly historical peoples, this great achievement will be a gateway to liberating our homelands from external domination and unjust foreign aggression, and at the same time it will pave the ground for a pattern of anew relationship between nationalities, races, religions and sects, in our country and region, is based on understanding, tolerance, mutual recognition, common understanding, and cooperation for construction and development, not conflict and fighting over shares and small immediate gains, which opens the doors for the peoples of our region to build a prosperous democratic reality, In which peoples interact, and converge with each other, to maximize the development of the economy, culture, sciences, arts and benefit for all, and to build a new society free of grudges, hatred, dependency, poverty and the pests inherited from colonial times, tyranny and political and religious domination.
