Zelal Jagar: Attacks on Şingal coordinated

The occupying Turkish state attacked a car belongs to the Şingal Resistance Units (YBŞ) in the center of Şingal at 12:10 yesterday. As a result, the commander of the Şingal's Units, Saeed Hassan and his nephew Issa Khdeida were martyred, and 3 civilians were wounded, "Media Qassem Smou, Shamir Abbas Barjas, and Mirza Ali. On the same day, it is expected that the Prime Minister, Mustafa Kazemi will visit Şingal.

Today, the warplanes of the occupying Turkish state again bombed the Sakina hospital in Şengal district, as well as civilians who tried to evacuate the wounded and martyrs.

Regarding the attacks of the occupying Turkish state on Şengal, the co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) Zelal Jagar stressed the need to unite the Kurdish people more than ever and said: "The struggle and resistance must be escalated against the genocide committed by the Turkish state in support of the people of Şengal."  

They want to commit more genocides

She said that these attacks on Şengal show the weakness of the Justice and Development Party and Erdogan, and said: "The danger of the Turkish state lies in the struggle and resistance of the people of society, and the fascist Turkish state wants to carry out looting and genocide against this ancient people, as it is a great danger to the Kurdish people."

"The Iraqi government and the world countries are responsible."

She stressed the Turkish state's cooperation with neighboring countries and said: "The Iraqi government must fulfill its duty to protect the people of Şengal, for if it dispenses with Şengal today, it will do with Baghdad tomorrow, and the inaction of the Iraqi government indicates that it has reached an agreement with the Turkish state. And the Iraqi government is ignoring Şengal for its own interests, and they are responsible for these attacks. The Iraqi government has opened the airspace and allowed strikes to occupy it. The Turkish state is attacking the people in front of the eyes of the whole world and everyone is in a silent position. These world countries are all responsible for this situation.

"More togetherness is needed, more than ever"

She called on the Kurdish people to unite more than ever and said: "The Turkish state targets the Kurdish people completely without any distinction. They want to exterminate the Kurdish people in this century so as not to perpetuate their gains. The Kurdish people need to unite more than the danger is the same and continues. “The struggle and resistance against genocide must be intensified to support the people of Şengal and against the genocide of the Turkish state.”
